NutrifyMI ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email address, encrypted password.
- Profile Data: Optionally: age, weight, height, gender, dietary preferences, health conditions, location. Used solely to calculate personalised nutrition targets.
- Meal Data: Photos processed by AI for nutritional analysis. Stored securely, never shared or used for training.
- Health Data: Step count (read-only) if connected. No other health data accessed.
2. How We Use Your Information
Exclusively to: provide personalised nutrition tracking, calculate targets, track progress and streaks, process reward eligibility, and improve food recognition accuracy.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data. Hosted in secure data centres.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. Meal photos are sent to our AI provider solely for real-time analysis and are not retained after processing.
5. Your Rights
Request access, correction, or deletion at privacy@nutrifymi.com. Delete your account from within the app (data removed within 30 days).
6. Cookies & Analytics
Essential cookies only. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies. No analytics SDKs in the mobile application.
7. Children's Privacy
Not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
Material changes communicated through the app or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
